Bernard Piprah is an experienced mental health provider and Registered Clinical Counsellor (R.C.C.) with the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors. He is devoted to the transformative power of psychotherapy and utilizes an eclectic approach to support clients in-person & virtually throughout British Columbia.
Over the last 10 years Bernard has worked with non-profit and government organizations supporting the mental health of British Columbians regardless of the setting: halfway houses, crisis programs, inpatient hospital units, community outpatient treatment programs or school district settings.
He invites clients of all ages and backgrounds to recognize their capacity for resiliency with their acute struggles, grief, interpersonal displeasure, misery, family conflict and much more. Bernard has full confidence that his client centered, trauma-informed treatment process can generate insight, new goals, a sense of control and radical acceptance of the most challenging circumstances we face.
His therapeutic approach draws from many modalities including: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Attachment Informed Modalities.
