Jill Craven (M.A. R.C.C.)
For 20 years my career in the clinical field has allowed me to work with children, youth, LGBTQ individuals, families, adults and women who have experienced violence.
I work from the understanding that early life experiences shape who we are and how we react to our present circumstances and relationships. Life can feel painful and confusing. I offer a safe and judgment free environment to encourage clients to explore and process their experiences.
Neurobiology and somatic processing support my trauma informed lens, allowing me to help clients better understand the impact that their experiences has had in creating their behaviours, symptoms or struggles; how one relates to their world and to themselves. Although I take a holistic and integrated therapeutic approach to ensure I honour each client’s specific needs, I find clients respond quickly with EMDR therapy.
I specialize in supporting individuals and their loved ones who struggle with general distress, anger, grief, parenting concerns, anxiety, PTSD, depression, low self-confidence, addictions and relationship dysfunction. Finding clarity and understanding to personal issues often occurs while learning skills and personal strengths for your healthier and more peaceful future.
I am EMDRIA certified and am a registered clinician with the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP)
