I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) working in Langley and virtually! I have a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I have completed a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Education from Simon Fraser University. I have many years of experience working with children and youth as a teacher and counsellor in elementary and secondary schools. I love working with youth and also have a passion for working with BIPOC women and moms after becoming a mom myself.

Life can be tough and overwhelming at times, but it is important to remember that there is hope. We all have the ability to heal ourselves and our relationships. Expressing and processing our emotions can be difficult, which is why I value the relationships that I have with my clients and aim to create a safe space where people feel that they can be themselves without fear of judgment.

My therapeutic practice is an integrative model where I work from a holistic lens drawing from various modalities. I believe in fostering connection and secure attachments through a client-centered approach, that also draws on cognitive behavioural, solution focused, and strength-based therapies.

I want my clients to leave therapy feeling lighter and I hope that throughout our time together, clients can be reminded of their strengths and discover new ones that leave them feeling more empowered, optimistic and confident.
